A) My Media in 2025

Technology knows you better than you know yourself.

I'm 29 years old and as soon as I put on my Google glasses, I say "tell me the temperature", a little voice in my ear lets me know. This is 2025, the year of technology. Google glasses are not a thing of the past, everyone has them. Nowadays, technology can do mostly anything that you want it to and all you have to do is ask for it.

Each day we get an email, now required by the government so the average American won't seem as ignorant to to other countries, and we receive our news, tailored to what we want. Each week, we take a survey and depending on our answers, technology is able to tell us about stories we most likely want to hear about. Television isn't a thing of the past yet, but it's used for the elderly because they big screens help them see better. People my age are more into watching things on smaller screens and on the go, using either laptops. Social media is still relevant because what better way is there to connect with others in the same room than through a computer?

Technology has been used to help children reach their full potential. They're fitted with their first pair of Google glasses and given a speaker as a gift from the hospital, and as they nap different news is played while their synapses and connections wire in their brains. As they get older, they're more aware of the world around them because they have been exposed to many different things from such a young age. What about when it comes to reading, not listening?

About 5 years ago, there was a huge turn around with people's views on saving the environment. They decided to petition newspapers and stop printing them, the case went to the Supreme Court and it was decided that paper newspapers would no loner be a thing. The New York Times is coming to the end of their run as the only printed newspaper still out there. They only print once or twice a week, but they have an online website that can be accessed during each weekday. It's 2025 now, I can only imagine what will be out there 2035.
